‘Wherever possible, enrollment is the goal,’ the new policy states.

This is the result of the “Francis Effect” of silence and ambiguity.  If the Church doesn’t follow Christ’s directive to proclaim the Good News and call people to follow what he commanded then we get what we are seeing now from our prelates, a need to proclaim the culture.  There is no silence.  One message or the other will be heard.

I agree with the priest in the article.  There is no middle ground.  Acceptance is a rejection of the associated Church teachings. There  is no cafeteria Catholic approach. You are or you aren’t.  Pick and stand up.
