The Morality of Self-Injury

The Journal of Medical Ethics, a leading British bioethical journal, has done it again. Back in 2011, they offered us the barbaric thesis of Alberto Giubilini and Francesca Minerva defending infanticide.

Yes, it feels like we are living in Toonstown and the inmates are running the asylum.  Is a rational person really supposed to believe that killing born children and cutting or burning oneself is good and reasonable?  These are mental illnesses that need the mercy of therapy.

Good will be called evil and evil called good. We are squarely in that time.  Much of it caused by the evil of relativism and the crusade of ultimate subjective autonomy and conscience.

We’re not in Kansas anymore Dorothy.
